SHARE
SHARE is a not-for-profit organization that builds and strengthens community through volunteer service. Everyone who volunteers just two hours a month is welcome to participate. Since 1990 SHARE Florida has been helping Floridians save money on quality, nutritious food while empowering people to help one another make a positive difference in the world. The Florida Association for Food Banks
The Florida Association of Food Banks is a 501c (3) organization and is committed to making sure that families that need food can get it in a dignified manner and in a way that serves as a real safety net for those who fall on difficult times. Its 15 member food banks serve all 67 counties in the state of Florida. They are affiliated with America’s Second Harvest who has a nationally recognized food distribution system and has 200 member food banks throughout the country. |

America's Second Harvest is the nation's largest domestic hunger relief organization. Through a network of over 200 food banks and food-rescue programs, we provide emergency food assistance to more than 23 million hungry Americans each year, eight million of whom are children. |

Farm Share
Established in 1991, Farm Share is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to the recovery, sorting, packing and distribution of nutritious foods for people in need. Farm Share administers gleaning projects, USDA commodity programs, food drives and produce recovery operations from a packinghouse provided by the Florida Department of Agriculture, commissioner Charles H. Bronson. It is located in Florida City, near Homestead, Florida - the heart of Miami-Dade County's farming area.

The Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) is a leading national organization working to improve public policies to eradicate hunger and undernutrition in the United States. Founded in 1970 as a public interest law firm, FRAC is a nonprofit and nonpartisan research and public policy center that serves as the hub of an anti-hunger network of thousands of individuals and agencies across the country. |

Hunger Free America
Hunger Free America, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), is an initiative to raise awareness about the childhood hunger crisis in the U.S. and mobilize involvement through education, fundraising events and coalition building. The program will provide Americans with ways to become active in ending childhood hunger in their communities. |

USDA National Hunger Clearinghouse
From food rescue groups in Florida to nutrition programs in Nevada, the National Hunger Clearinghouse is the only centralized national database of innovative organizations working on food, nutrition and agriculture issues in the country. We focus on constructive, community-based solutions to hunger and poverty within and between the public, private and non-profit sectors, and we encourage information and resource sharing.
